Sandra:

• yesterday was a great day with my hubby home…we spent some seriously lazy time together!
• there may be nothing quite as nice as an afternoon nap for absolutely no good reason.
• then coffee in the afternoon and another movie while the thunder rumbles in the distance.  yes it was a great day.
• today is back to reality…lots of laundry and cleaning to do since i took yesterday off
• honestly i’d love to spend some time with photoshop today so i’m hoping i can get it all done
• this morning all is quiet, just the sound of the rain falling, the smell and taste of strong coffee, and a grateful heart for all i’m blessed with

Kylie:

• whew! the last couple of days went by in a flash!
• friday was Elliott’s birthday … the kids and i did a cake for him – he wanted the same as last year ~ a sponge cake with whipped cream ~ nice and simple!
• once he got home from work and after opening gifts, we went down to the spca … we were hoping to get a new kitten ~ they didn’t have any, so we will try again in a few weeks
• yesterday my mum and step-dad came for the afternoon, it was so good to see them and spend time with them!
• last night was a much-needed early night for all of us
• today is rainy, so a quiet day at home – a dvd this afternoon and some knitting … then tonight, a yummy roast for dinner
