Sandra:

  • yesterday was Mother’s Day and it was a great one; filled with handwritten notes, handmade cards,  and l0ts and lots of love.
  • today was errand day…lots and lots of errands to run!
  • i haven’t had time to play around with my cameras and didn’t even get my roll of film developed for the disposables group.  it is on my list for tomorrow though!
  • i’ve been so busy today that i’m cooking a simple quiche for dinner.   if i had enough energy left in me, a homemade cake would really hit the spot.  dessert, however, is looking more like quick, top-of-the-stove, oatmeal-chocolate cookies.   so fast and yummy!

  • Madelyn and i had lots of fun at the birthday party on Saturday – she is really excited about her own birthday coming up at the end of this month and keeps reminding me that there needs to be balloons!
  • i had a lovely mothers day and was very spoiled!  the kids gave me Jodi Picoult’s new book – House Rules. i have started reading it and am enjoying it so far – hoping to sit down tonight, in front of the fire and maybe finish reading it
  • yesterday morning we baked toffee muffins – nom nom! i really love and cherish those special moments – like baking with the kids. its something that i remember doing with my own mum when i was little
  • we took a nice walk yesterday after kindy – with the disposable camera in hand. i can’t wait to get it developed and see what all the shots are like!
  • Madelyn is really excited about kindy today – they are having a teddy bears picnic. this morning we went through all her teddy bears (of which there are many!) and picked one out for her to take along
  • its such a beautiful and sunny day, so while Madelyn is at kindy, Christian and i have plans to go for a walk and maybe go down to the lake to feed the ducks
