  • Snow!  We got just a bit of snow in an unusual winter storm that reached all the way down to the very southern part of the states.
  • The kids were thrilled to see some flakes, but were wishing for enough so that we could build a snowman
  • It has been a “snow day” with all the kids out of school and hubby home from work
  • We may be out to catch a mardi gras parade or to take the kids out to eat tonight, but it’s going to be sooo cold.  The kids don’t care about how cold it is, however I’d much rather be warm inside somewhere!

  • its overcast and windy today and the same predicted for tomorrow, so a quiet weekend at home
  • the super 14 kicked off last night, so lots of rugby watching this weekend and weekends to come in the next few months
  • i had some time to myself yesterday afternoon, down at the lake ~ just thinking and writing and being in the moment
  • casting on a new knitting project this afternoon for the winter knitting Olympics

i wondered how much you all got down there. we got enough to build a tiny snowman (though I didn’t do it). it mostly melted by this afternoon.

Good read … headline catchy … good points, some of which I have learned along the way as well (humility, grace, layoff the controversial stuff). Will share with my colleagues at work as we begin blogging from a corporate perspective. Thanks!
